The officers of Single Sailors Association — Breeze Carlile (Commodore), Burr Tyler (Vice Commodore), Katrina Wienskowski (Purser), & Richard Tracy (Yeoman) — invite you to the Monthly Mixer at Alameda Yacht Club on Thursday — November 13, 2025 — from 5 PM to 9 PM.

We have hired High Street Station to deliver our Thanksgiving meal: pre-sliced turkey & ham, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, cranberry sauce, and a mixed green salad with blue cheese, dried cranberries, & pecans with a balsamic dressing. 

Please bring along a favorite traditional dish that is special to you for sharing. This can include desserts. If possible, drop your ideas into the WhatsApp chat, so we can avoid repeats of the same dishes. (Burr is bringing 2 pumpkin pies, for example.)

The cost is $20 per SSA Member — but the actual cost to SSA is $30 + 10.75% tax + a $75 cash gratuity to the team preparing the food, packing it up, and delivering it to us. 

SSA is underwriting the difference for members. 

The cost is $35 for non-members (for this special event only). 

SSA members and guests should sign up online and prepay as usual.

SSA Monthly Mixer — 13 November 2025 — AYC

In addition, we will give a $100 donation to AYC for using their space.

The deadline for paid registrations is Tuesday at 12 noon (November 11, 2025).

As we are using real plates & cutlery from AYC, Burr is organizing set-up & clean-up committees. Thank you, Burr. 

The AYC bar will be open — pay as you go — with both cash and credit card accepted.

Results of the 2026 Election of Officers will also be announced at this meeting.
